Any weird words I use, the definitions are here!

Driver:

The person who drives the engine

Fireman:

The person who tends to the fire of a steam engine.

Yardworker:

Someone who works in the yard.

Workman:

Usually tied in with Yardworker, they do odd jobs around the yard and station. IE Cleaning, repair work, decorating, ect.

Stationmaster:

Sometimes called Station Manager, they make sure the station and its trains run on time.

STH:

Stands for Sir Topham Hatt

The Fat Controller:

A nickname for Sir Topham Hatt

Sir Topham Hatts Assistant:

Helps out with railway management, and anything else STH needs a hand with. They also double as first aiders, step in stationmasters, and body guards.

Lavender Code:

(See the Lavender Code section of World Building for details.) Lavender in your lapel or breast pocket is a subtle code for being queer.

North Western Railway.
